Summer Athletes Training Opportunities
Incoming Freshmen are encouraged to sign up for Impact through our Summer Programs run by Coach Irish. 7-9 IMPACT - $75 – Register here: https://weplayforhim.sportngin.com/register/form/842765266
Individual Muscle, Power, Agility and Core Training. This co-ed course is designed to help increase every athlete’s effectiveness on the court, field or course by increasing quickness, strength, body coordination, flexibility, jumping ability and endurance. Incoming Grades: 7th - 9th / June 20th – July 29th
Returning Athletesare encouraged to sign up for Returning Athlete Summer Training (NEW!).
This summer we are offering "RA Summer Training" for returning LCL student-athletes going into Grades 10-12. As we continue to look for ways to support our athletes and provide exceptional experiences, we are breaking up our traditional Impact program. We will offer Impact for students going into Grades 7-9 while "RA Summer Training" is designed for returning athletes. Training will include time in the weight room, speed & agility, and components of our Impact program to help prepare athletes for the upcoming HS seasons. Here is the schedule that will run MWF June 6 – July 25 led by Coach Greg Brazgel and Coach Brenna Novak.
Boys Session 1: S&A 7:30-8:00/Weight Room 8:00-9:00
Girls Session: S&A 8:30-9:00/Weight Room 9:00-10:00
Boys Session 2: S&A 9:30-10:00/Weight Room 10:00-11 Sign-Up through our athletic website here:https://lakecountrylutheran-ar.rschooltoday.com/
*Sports Physicals are not required for Summer Training. / Coach Brazgel will contact the boys that register and assign timeslots to ensure space is properly accounted for.
Coaches may have other sport specific training opportunities available during the summer within WIAA guidelines. Please contact them directly if you have questions.
Reminder – Get your athletic physical requirement completed if needed for fall sports! LCL will not be offering Athletic Physicals on campus as we have done in the past. Athletic Physical Forms may be needed to register your athlete for FALL Sports. If you are unsure what your child needs, please contact Mrs. Megan Loppnow in the office at (262) 367-8600 ext. 303.
* All students must have a current physical dated after April 1, 2021. A physical from before is no longer current.
A physical taken after April 1, 2020 and or during the 2020-21 school year is valid for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years. A new physical would be required.
A physical taken after April 1, 2021 and or during the 2021-22 school year is valid for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 school years. An alternate card could be used for 2022-23.
Physicals are good for 2 years and during the alternate years, parents must sign off on an alternate year card which is done online by everyone as part of the registration process. No separate Alternate Year Card form is required!
Fall Sports Registration will open up in mid-July.

*It is recommended that student-athletes attend this meeting accompanied by at least one parent/guardian. Football Practice Starts - August 2nd Girls Field Hockey Starts – TBD Girls Golf – August 8th Girls Tennis & Swim Starts - August 9th Boys Soccer, Girls Volleyball, and Cross Country Starts - August 15th *Transportation to practice locations for the co-op sports is the responsibility of the athlete’s family.
**Swim and Field Hockey participants should contact Mr. Bickel or Mrs. Loppnow prior to participation so we can put you in direct contact with the coach.
